Baladiye Cheese is a unique hand made fresh soft cheese with a light, mellow flavour, made to a unique recipe. As well as a table cheese, it can be used in quiches, cheesecakes and cheese pastries. Baladiye is a soft, white cheese originating in the Middle East and is made from unpasteurised mixture of goat, cow and sheep's milk. The cheese appears similar to Akawi, but it has a more dense texture. It is a soft unripened cheese with a sweet and slightly salty flavour. This artisan cheese can be eaten with local bread or served with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh herbs.
